Google Ads Growth for B2C Subscription Products
I help subscription teams scale Google Ads around CPA, LTV and Net ROAS — across Search, PMax and Demand Gen.
Who I help
EdTech
Online learning products sold on subscription or trial-to-paid.
AI learning
AI / ChatGPT skills products with quiz or web-to-app funnels.
Career & job search
Job-search, CV and career-growth products for professionals.
Self-development
Habit, wellbeing and personal-growth subscriptions.
Markets: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Western Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Nordics).
Problems I solve
- Budget goes up, CPA goes up faster — scaling stalls.
- Front-end CPA looks fine, but subscriptions and LTV don't pay back.
- PMax or Demand Gen spend you can't explain or control.
- Search terms drifting away from the intent your funnel actually converts.
- Bidding optimising to the wrong conversion signal.
- New GEOs launched without a clear payback model.

Why subscription economics changes Google Ads decisions

- Scale
In subscription products the first purchase is only the start. A campaign with a cheap CPA can lose money if those users cancel; a "too expensive" GEO can be the most profitable one after renewals and refunds. I make Google Ads decisions — structure, bidding targets, GEO mix, creative tests — against what the business actually earns, not just what the ad account reports.
Proof & cases
Scale
Dating subscription · Global, Tier-1
$500–700K / month Google Ads budget (typical range)
Problem. Keep acquisition cost stable while running one of the largest Google Ads budgets in the dating category.
What I did. Managed the Google Ads budget end to end; added a layer of 3 review sites to reach competitor-brand search demand; analysed ROAS, MRR and the funnel by device; ran landing-page experiments.
Result. $6 cost per registration · 3% click-to-purchase conversion · 10% click-to-purchase conversion through the review sites

Launch to scale
Two B2C subscription brands · Tier-1
From $0 to $700K / month per brand
Problem. Launch new brands in Tier-1 markets with no account history.
What I did. Launched Google Ads from zero across campaign types; built landing pages and optimised funnels; set up reporting in Tableau.
Result. Both brands launched; each scaled to $700K / month in Google Ads spend at 130% ROAS
2024 – Mar 2026 · Company names withheld under NDA
Diagnosis
AI career / job-search product · launch
Early test budget (~$211 over three days)
Problem. First days of Search: clicks but zero conversions, and the team saw a high first-screen exit in the quiz funnel.
What I did. Found that 100% Broad Match let Google rewrite intent: in the first three days one keyword took ~30% of spend on urgent “job now” searches, AI-for-job-search drifted into jobs-in-AI, and competitor traffic leaked into core groups. Recommended rebuilding the core in Exact + Phrase, a negative list, a separate competitor group and a job-board test.
Result. Clean intent buckets to judge the funnel itself. No downstream lift is claimed yet: the relaunch outcome is in progress

About me
I'm Dmytro Karpii, a Google Ads and user-acquisition specialist with 7 years in Google Ads, from agency Head of PPC to in-house user acquisition in Tier-1 markets (US, UK, CA, AU). I've managed $500–700K/month in Google Ads for a dating subscription product with one of the largest budgets in its category, launched two dating brands from zero and scaled each to $700K/month at 130% ROAS, and built my own AI-tools product to 30K monthly organic users. Google Partner.
Probably not a fit if…
- You sell B2B SaaS, e-commerce or lead-gen services rather than a B2C subscription.
- Google Ads is not part of your acquisition mix yet and you only want a quote for running it.
- You are looking for guaranteed CPA or ROAS numbers — no honest consultant can promise them.
- You want the cheapest hands-on account management; my work is diagnosis, strategy and senior review.
